OPEC cutting oil production?

according to yahoo news OPEC is cutting oil production by 1.2 million barrels a day, so does this mean now gas is going back up to 3 dollars or more a gallon? pulling in with an empty tank and leaving with an empty wallet, thats all the oil companies and OPEC thinks about.

Certainly sounds that way doesn't it. Hopefully this will get others to produce other ways to operate cars other than relying on the oil companies. I live in Canada where there is lots of oil but we have to pay world prices because of belonging to the world oil cartel, which dictates prices.
