Wow they block Yahoo mail? My school uses Websense, but it atleast doesn't block Yahoo mail...Most people don't pick up 13 yr old girls using traditional email.
Most filters aren't designed to allow someone to log in, but if you do manage to logon, don't tell anyone about the proxy because if too many people will know, then websense will know, and then it'll be blocked. It's how it works.

you can go to a proxy or you can go to:
www.in.yahoo.com (its in Indian)
-or-
www.cn.yahoo.com (its in chinese)
but you will be able to tell where the email link is because it is an envelope and go from there
