I already have IE7 and Mozilla Firefox. Is netscape worth getting as well?

If you want, go ahead, but it's certainly not needed. If you have both of those, you're good.

back in 1997 netscape was the top browser with 95% market share. now only a few still use it since it doesn't follow html and css standards. in otherwords it will make web pages look very bad.

get mozilla firebird instead. they rewrote netscape and came up with firefox

Can't stand Netscape. Firefox is much better.

In my opinion, no. Maybe opera. I would think 2 browsers should be enough. If both go down at once, chances are everyone is down.
