WHAT IS IT THAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR WITH THIS QUESTION? YOU AREN'T GONNA FIX ANYTHING OR CHANGE ANYTHING! DOES IT BOTHER YOU THAT PEOPLE DO THESE THING TO KIDS AND GET LITTLE OR NO PUNISHMENT? WELL I WORKED IN A FACILITY WITH JUVENILE OFFENDERS OF THIS TYPE OF CRIME. THIS SUBJECT IS COMPLICATED AND SO HORRIBLE BUT THERE IS NO EASY ANSWER AS ONE CHILD IS OFFENDED UPON THAT CHILD WILL IN TURN OFFEND MANY MORE. IS IT RIDICULOUS THAT OTHER SIMPLE CRIMES HOLD STRONGER PRISON TERMS? YES! BUT ONCE AGAIN WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT? ITS A VICIOUS CYCLE THAT WONT STOP ON ITS OWN

What constitutes a pedophile? Don't get me wrong, statutory laws are a good thing in my book (I have 2 daughters myself), but it was only a couple of generations ago that a 15 year old girl marrying a 30 year old man was not out of the ordinary. And if I recall correctly, the age of consent in Canada is 14.
So the short answer is no, we cannot agree to hate pedophiles because we can't agree as to what a pedophile is.

I wish that could happen, but probably never will. People seem to have to justify who they are by putting others down. The song "Black and White" says it all from a long time ago. What is funny is the pedophiles and child murderers come in white, black, hispanic, jewish, muslim, etc.
