the liquid nails has more grab ability if you need to be able to walk away from the piece. Liquid nails is more construction adhesive for heavy work with poor fit. gorilla glue is amsome for a lot of thngs it really shines for uses where its expanding ability can bea of use. for example a loose chair leg. if you put gorilla glue in the socket it will fill the gap aroung the loose leg and dry hard. caution it will expand more than you think and will drip out and all over the place after you leave so cover the area

Gorilla Glue will make a bond stronger than the wood iself.
Liquid nails will not.
GG is a pain to get off your hands though..

Liquid nails is the best construction adheasive I know of. Don't use it if you ever plan to take it apart.
