If there is an infinite omniverse, then our universe would have to be apart of it. Life doesn't exist separate from the whole, it does not come from a vaccum in and of itself. Everything is connected on some level.

I actually thought the Universe was everything? The whole thing. The one thing.

Is that not correct?

What is an Omniverse?

Yet another object to confuse and obfuscate us all?

Be aware that this is the first post I have ever made on any website so any Omniversarians out there, I apologise now.

But, what a crock.

Lately, I have been thinking more and more about our being here and I do not know why.

Why do people you have not spoken to for months ring 5 minutes after you have picked their business card out of a holder?

Why do people ring you or write to you on the very day you decide to burn or shred a file?

Why do we so often pick the phone to call someone who is already in the system waiting to be connected?

We are in some some sort of game or the like.

I used to be a good Christian (Sunday School and good schools etc) but not fanatical and in some ways I respect the education side of the Bible, both Old Testament and New Testament.

But there are so many unanswered questions between the Bible, Darwin etc.

If there was a Big Bang and something exploded, what was it that exploded? And what was it in?

Why are we now finding these big planets?

Why do we hear that the world has been effectively wiped clean every so many million years by ice ages, asteroids or the like or whatever the combination is?

Wiping the "hard drive" clean?

Why not? Can you really think as to why life is so random on Earth? If Evolution is the answer, why are there not only humans on the planet?

I cannot sleep some nights and I know I am not alone (she snores!) but I really believe there is something going on.

Does anybody have any thoughts?

omniverse full of parallel or alternative universes but infinite i'm not to sure. i'm no astro physic student but i have collated some info. on the possibilities that if there are an omniverse, it's not infinite (unless the omniverse is part of something else?).

here one of my reasons why i think the omniverse is not infinite.
there are 4 fundemental forces of nature which generally accepted by all. the gravitational force is one of them however it's also the weakest so where is the rest of the force gone. one of the most plausible idea i could find so far is that it's being share by other universes in another dimension(s). i believe that the gravitational force overall strength most have a limit because if it was infinite then it wouldn't be weak in this universe (how could it be if it was infinite). therefore a only finite number of other universes could share the gravitational force.

i found this article today which could even add some weight to my idea. it looks like we could be leaking gravity to parallel universes

Possibly. Would certainly make some of the bizarre implications of quantum theory explicable. (See Everett's Many Worlds theory.)
At the Big Bang it's possible the bit that expanded (our bit) was just one of many. It's possible too that even as we speak, new universes are being created.
The implication of all this, given that there's a finite configuration of particle states, Universes start repeating themselves exactly at about 10^96 light years.Identical you and me doing same things at same time. There may also be universes where higher spatial dimensions are manifest, not curled up< Plank Length. There may be still-born universes where time does not exist. It may be possible to create your own custom universe using some sort of super hadron collider-be a bit small though! (no universes were harmed as a result of this article!)

I like 2124 answer but would add that our "Universe" is simply another bubble in a giant bubble-bath where instead of soapy membranes of watery film there are immense 'soft' gravitational walls. These 'walls' compose the 'Omniverse' you speak of and I believe it should be acknowledged highly that within this 'touching' there is a deep resonating awareness pouring into Itself (probably looks like the oil floating on the soapy bubbles... yet reversed).

FOR JOHNYH BELOW ME... (u can't recieve e-mail)

Type in this question:
Does this happen to you too? Coincidence?
” and answer it.
This question is still open .
the following was my answer:
(directed towards you too)

Its always exciting to here of another experiencing this.
It's called "synchronicity".
The best thing I can suggest
for you to do is research: "Chaos Theory".
It definitely holds the key to what we are experiencing. There are books written for 'laymen' that give a very good understanding. Since you are already experiencing the reality of the theory it will be exceptionally beautiful and enlightening for you.

I think that 'synchronicity' is literally 'The Language of God' and that we are like babies just beginning to understand that sounds hold meaning for us. Our synchronicity awareness is probably equivalent to a baby's awareness of it's parent saying, "hi there".
Eventually we will be able to understand words of this language, then sentences, paragraphs, chapters...a...?
What you are experiencing is so very meaningful

What does an increasing awareness of "coincidences" mean?

was the first question I ever asked (couple weeks ago)

who knows? does it effect me? no. does anyone really actually care - yes, because thats humans for you.

by the way, perhaps it is, perhaps it isn't. plus, isn't the universe, by deffinition infinate and the only one. Many scientists think it is more likely that before the big bang there was a big crunch of another universe. When this universe stops, and collapses in on its self into the smallest point possible (a singularity) it will big bang again, and we will have another universe. (though we may not be in it, supprisingly).

Yes it possibly is Omniverse, we just don't know.
Nothing in this field is finite.

I would tend to say yes, but then I try to see the Universe as more organic than inorganic. If you look at it in that light, then the model we would fit would tend to suggest that our universe is only a single part of a complex system that may extend beyond what we percieve or know.

Yes, all theories and possibilities of the universe(s) and dimensions are what makes up Omniverse.

Do a web search on the subject.

probably, but to know that we'd have to go past an ever growing universe. Think of it as a puddle of water. the Water is the universe, as it rains more and more, the puddle gets larger and larger. The galaxies are the bacteria inside it. as the puddle gets larger, more bacteria appear.
