Supposedly PMS only happens in the Western world. Makes it kind of suspect as a "natural" condition.

That's an interesting point...but, no.

While I agree that some women may try to use PMS as an excuse for some very naughty or obnoxious things they may do, and that they STILL have accountability for their behavior even so because they are still capable of rational thinking, that's no reason to say that the symptoms of PMS are not real.

The Western world just has a name for it, but female reproductive biology is the same whereever you go. Hormonal changes do have an effect on mood and behavior.

no in the Western world women are allowed to speak up and say they don't feel well. Eastern women are taught to be submissive and not to complain. PMS is real, although I would say some women carry it off a bit far sometimes, but hormones and cramping and bleeding can be quite the pain, literally. I would also say with the Western diet plays a large part in it as well. To much caffenie and calories, make everyone irritable, add influx of hormones and you get Bitchie!

I could see how some people could see how that would be the case, but on several occasions I have freaked out at my family, gotten furious over nothing, etc, and a few days later I get my period. I, at least, do not use PMS as an excuse to be overly angry if I don't feel I have to be.

No, I do not.
But I can see where a a man with an extremely conservative mind set, limited life and travel experience as well as being incredible ignorant about female physiology and psychology would believe something like that.

No more than having "blue balls" is made up as an excuse for men to be jacka**es.

PMS stands for premenstrual syndrome. You should Google it.

what it does is make another excuse for people to not take control of there actions. In the USA the rule is never take blame , do not be responsile for oneself and always push problems and work off onto the next guy. men and women each have exuses for there own moodiness
