If you are referring to Northeastern University in Boston then you have a tough road ahead of you. SAT's should be above 1200 for serious consideration and your ACT score needs to be more in the range of 24 at least.

What year are you in? If you are a senior I would try for a middle of the road school and put in serious effort and then try for one of those schools as a transfer student.

If you really have your heart set on these schools then apply on line. Usually, most schools do not charge an admissions fee if you apply on line.

Maybe... I don't really know much about those schools, but I do know that state schools are the easiest to get into. And you have an even better chance of getting into schools that you live nearest to because universities give first pick to locals. I got a 980 on the SATs and graduated with a 3.2 with very little extracurriulars and I got into state schools (university of west georgia and georgia state university to be exact). Good luck!

Sometimes an essay stating what you want to major in and what you will do when you graduate helps. They're looking for evidence of commitment.

With a 2.9, they'l let you into any one of those schools, provided you can afford them.
