Wasnt it based on a true stroy?But I mean,come on!you being woken up in the middle of the night by some ghost that is pulling you up by your hair.I think thats a bit too much!

The base line of the story is true. This was the first documented and believed haunting here in America. But of course Hollywood gets a hold of it and blows everything way up. And also the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is based on a true story but once again it has been made into a movie and the details get blow-en out of proportion.

I actually wanted to see this scary movie. I think it looked scary. I know that it was supposedly based on a true story, but I don't know how much you can trust that statement anymore? Like Texas Chainsaw Massacre was based on a true story, but really wasn't!

It was supposed to be the first documented case of a haunting in America but like all "factual" based movies, I think great liberties were taken in its making. I liked it though.

the idea is based on true events. the texas chainsaw massacre was based on a guy named ed gein from wisconsin.

i think they tired to make really scary, i didnt find it scary, theres just a few parts where you had a fright, soo i dunno
