Hmm...
I do enjoy the DS alot. The PSP I heard is going downhill. The games don't see mto great to other people.
You take advantage of games with the touch screen on the DS. The PSP is just plain old button controls.
The PSP, if you want to keep it safe, you have to buy all these battery upgrades, and cases and memory sticks.
DS, you pick it up and you are ready to go. The DS actually can play movies, mp3 files, MP4 files, WAV files, and alot. The upgrade for that costs about 100 dollars though.
You can go on the internet with it. It just requires the Opera browser.
I seriously recommend the DS.

It depends what you want- if you want a portable system with innovative/ quick play games that you just take anywhere without worrying about it- get a DS- buy the lite one, it is really nice.
If you want a do it all system, which lets you watch movies, play music, and surf the web- as well as play pretty decent games, then a PSP is for you.
Other things to consider are- If you buy a PSP- you will most likely need to buy a big memory card- for the music, another battery- the PSP's life is kinda short, and a protective case to keep the that nice screen safe. Also, you can only watch movies by buying UMD's, which is you can only watch on your PSP and cost more than DVD's. If you have deep pockets, and care more about features than games- then I recommend a PSP.
If you care about games, and pick up and play-ness- but don't mind the sub-par graphics (when compared to PSP) - then the DS is the way to go.

I'd say the DS is a better video game handheld, and the PSP is a better multimedia system. You want to play video games, right? Then buy a DS. Yeah, the PSP has some good games, but other than that its library is full of sports and ports. The DS is chock full of fun games to play, ones you'll go back to and play over and over again just because they're that fun.
Not saying the PSP ain't great. I mean, you can watch movies, listen to music, view pictures, surf the web, and play games on it. But remember what I said earlier, there's hardly any good games on it, and aren't ya buying a video game handheld to play video games? Why do you need all of these other features, stuff you can already do on your computer a whole lot easier? Not to mention movies you can watch on any DVD player, portable or not, and if you want to watch your favorites on your PSP you'll need to rebuy them for UMD format.
Recap: the PSP is a cool system, with great multimedia capabilities, but when it comes to playing great games I'd recommend buying a DS (Lite model, $129). You can always buy a PSP when you get an extra $199 in your wallet.
But really, it's up to you to decide what you think is better, not anyone who posts here. Still, use the advice that's given to you.

it depends. if you want more and better games then picked the ds. if you want something with an internet compatipilaty then pick the psp.
i reccomend the DS because you cane buy a media dock for it and it can hold 1 to 5 giga bytes of memoryof movies, pictures, music, and music videos.
also if you have the psp you can get a virus that destroys your psp and you also need to be near a wi-fi place to be able to go on the internet and you can by something for the DS that lets you go on the internet whenever you want.also the psp has less games and they lack fun and now it is $50.00 dollars more then a DS and you should just get a DS lite which is just plain old cooler then everything.

Take the two. I honestly have a PSP and it extremely is way greater effective than the DS. PSP video games are 3-D no longer basically like the DS(lol). there is greater effective video games for PSP like SOCOM, uncooked vs Smackdown! 2007, and lots greater. Can u watch video clips in a DS?NO!. &U might heard that the ds has on the spot co op. valuable yet with the psp, u can acess your PSP to uur laptop and play with others. If u basically like a pair of video games from the PSP, there will be greater video games interior the destiny. yet PSP is powerful for boys and girls folk who love action.

Buy the PSP you can watch movies listen to music browse the web and put pictures and flash games. Also u get update right from the PSP adding new features to the PSP. DS has nothing but bad graphics and terrible sound with awful crappy kiddy games. PSP has awesome games with online play and voice chat.

depends on what kind of gamer you are. check out the games before you buy either, of course.
for example, i play "non-gamer" games. I won a DS, with New Super Mario Bros, Animal Crossing, Big Brain, and thinking about getting Cooking Mama.
I think PSP is more for action, shooter, RPGs, map games (like GTA).
Have fun with whatever you get!!

I had a DS and didn't really enjoy it. I traded it in for a PSP and wouldn't go back.
