They have these spikes you can put in the ground. I don't know what they were called exactly but it was a green box showing it in the ground and a mole running away from it if that helps any. I saw them at Wal-Mart.

many ways. there is a poison gas called gopher gas, you stick it in the hole and light the fuse it fills the trails with sulfur gas.
also seen poison peanuts you spoon in the dirt where they travel. finally a non poison method is a special trap which sticks in the ground over the trail with a loaded spike bar poised above the trail. next time me mole comes down his tunnel it presses the trigger device and the spikes go down.( very effective)

My father in law use to put pieces of juicy fruit gum, broken up into the holes..You see, they love the sweet taste of the gum , but they cannot digest it........so they get bound up, can't do do, so they die..........We live in the country and it does work....We had (had) moles years ago until dad told us about this.....good luck

do it exactly like they do it on cartoons. you will need dynamite, high pressure water, a large bore shotgun, and a shovel.

actually...

they make traps that have spring loaded spikes in them that impale the mole when it trips the lever

put small pieces of juicy fruit gum in the fresh trails, use a stick and poke a hole and push small pieces of gum down into the hole.put it into different areas. the gum blocks his bowls so it can't go to the bathroom, and it kills them

I typically use those poison peanuts they have in many garden and hardware stores. Be careful, though, as they can be attractive to pets and/or small children.
