I want all four of us to be in the painting. I want it to be funny and beautiful at the same time. Plz i need suggestions.

Paint your background in such a way as to emulate the old watercolors of Hawaii that were popular in the 1930's, sometimes used on travel posters.
Make it in warm, romantic, sunset colors, maybe showing Diamond Head framed by a palm tree in the foreground, with the family under the tree's overarching trunk.

Think of things you associate with each person and paint them free floating as a background then portrait over this.
Or more subtly : Add a tiny detail of something you associate with each person to their lapel or other part of their clothing, so that you'd have to look closely to see it.
