Diebold voting machines are among the worst.
They're based on MS Access-- not a good db platform
They don't have procedures to protect passwords
Audit trails are horrible-- actually non-existent
Mechanisms to update software have little security controls
Security at the polling site is not good either
MIstakes can happen easily with setting up the software/election.
Bugs in software.
why do morons have to inject illegal aliens or ID checks in this discussion. One has nothing to do with the other.

I watched both videos and have worked at the polls for years. In practice, the method demonstrated would by nearly impossible to pull off unless election officials were the ones involved in rigging the election. If that were the case, no system can possibly be secure.

It bothers me a great deal that conservatives are so opposed to having a paper trail to double check the tallies.

This coming election, there will be over a million fraudulent Democrat votes.
Not even counting the Illegals that all vote Democrat.
No one can stop it. The Democrats have too much power.

The new ID cards are going to make me feel better. This way the Democrats won't have dead people, under aged, or illegals doing the voting for them as they've had in the previous elections.

I'd rather have a non-partisan voting machine count my vote then a partisan human miscounting my vote.
