Hello,
Goto http://www.jbtwebhosting.com JBT Web Hosting Services and on the left side of the homepage you will see a Information box with your IP address in it.
Please note, that if you are using a router your computers IP may be different then your default gateway. Which is what JBT Web Hosting Services website will tell you.
In that case using Windows 9X or ME goto Start >Run and type winipcfg. In Windows 2000/XP goto to run and type cmd then ipconfig. Type exit then press enter when you are done.

IP means internet protocol. If you right click on the little internet icon on the bottom right hand of your screen (mine looks like two monitors) it will come up with some options chose 'status' then click on the 'support' tab it will show you all the details there.

which IP do you require?
an internal IP (the IP of your computer on the network)
or your external IP (IP of your internet connection)
on most home internet connections you'll have a dynamic IP, which is one that changes everytime you login (or every few hours anyway)
we have a static IP address, which is only because we are using a business broadband company (for home internet)
for your internal IP there's either 2 monitors in the system tray(ethernet/wlan pre SP2). right click and click status. then click on support. and it (should) tell you.
for wireless internet on SP2, (monitor with radio signal on right, right click and status, then click on support.
the advice is only designed for XP (home, pro and media centre edition)
