I'm bisexual. I am in a committed romantic relationship with another girl. She was my best friend for many years and now she's my significant other. I think I might eventually marry her, but I'm not planning that far ahead yet. I'm not interested in any guys. When I date guys I only use them for sex. You'd think parents would rather their daughter be in a committed relationship than just having sex. But no, they want me to stop seeing my girlfriend and instead go out with guys.

Give them time to adjust. If they see that you are truly happy with your life this way they will come around to your side.

A lot of older people don't have very open minds about bisexuals and gays. It has to do with change. The older you get the less you can appreciate change for some reason.
Let her know you love her and appreciate her opinion but who you want to be with in the end is your choice.

Parents are always like that. Just do what you feel is right. You don't have to deal with them (unless your under 18). They might not agree with what you are doing, but they will just have to accept you and what you are doing. Wish you the best of luck with your significant other!

well i am bisexual too and only my boyfriend knows

my mom would never except me so i choose not to tell her. She would probably through a bible in my face.

I am with a guy right now and am going to get married to him but i am still attracted to girls.

My mom would not understand that i am a person too and i believe in god too just like her and she would kick me out of my house too

I pray that both of our parents will understand us more and learn to except us.

Email me anytime if you wanna about your parents i can help alot

Perhaps they only want you to take the easier way in life--perhaps you are not old enough, either, to be talking about any kind of sexual relationship.

Blah. Heard the song "Parents Just Don't Understand"? They don't. Continue the relationship and ignore them. Bi or lesbian, it's your life, not theirs.

It's okay. Don't mind your parents it's your choice and I think you should continue your relationship witht his girl. Even though I disagree on gay/bisexaul marriages,I still say it's your choice.

Most parents have a hard time accepting that their offspring are not 'normal'.
Do what makes you happy, they'll come around in time.
