A better question would be what are the similarities of Ellis Island and Angel Island? Ellis Island is in New York, NY. Angel Island is in San Francisco, CA. Ellis Island is where imigrants used to enter the US. Similarities? They're both islands in the USA.......can't really think of anything else, except that Ellis Island is a property of the Federal Government, If I'm not mistaken....

Ellis Island was the entry point in NYC for millions of immigrants. Angel Island was a Japanese interment camp in the San Francisco Bay in WWII. Both are now public parks.
