I sincerely want to know what the appeal behind Uggs is. They don't look very good to me (and a lot of people I know). Could someone explain? And "because they look good" is NOT a credible response.

Yeah---and why wear them in LA?????
I live in the frigid north, where comfort trumps fashion....so I could see if they're really warm. But you don't NEED warm boots in LA!!!!

Uggs are just so comfortable. My husband and my 6 yr old and myself just got a pair today in fact they are really great . I would recommend them if you want something to keep your feet warm and comfortable.--- NOTE: Also i don't understand why every one is saying there are out because in the ugg store in ca today there was over a dozen people in there.

They do not look good, I agree. But as a former ugg owner, they were incredibly cozy and warm during the cold winter months. That's their appeal.

no, uggs keep your feet nice and warm (doesn't matter if they look good) during those cold days/evenings in the winter. not a good idea to wear them when is raining or on the snow!

What about Crocks? Lol. I guess It's the fact that so Many people in Hollywood have worn them, that much of the media has made people want to wear em. Besides, there pretty warm in the winter!!!!

People love Uggs because they are comfortable and no shoe is made of sheepskin but they are pretty expensvie.

They are so warm and comfortable! And the material on the inside keeps your feet from sweating, so you can go bare foot in that wonderful softness!

Uggs are ugly. They were in style in 2003 until people realized how stupid they looked in them. Although I would rather wear Uggs than Crocs. (Shudder)

They were fashionable over a year ago but they are NOT a hot look right now. I wouldn't recommend anyone who wants to look fashionable wear them as anything other than slippers.

They are extremly comfortable and keep your feet warm when its cold outside...i personally think they are cute, but when then are functional, it really doesnt matter what they look like!
