Honkytonk music is the very best. Country Rock i think is just an extension of southern rock and roll started by the Allman Brothers and Skynyrd which were better. I like some of the older country rock bands, Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers. by the way i think Gary Stewart was the best Honkytonk singer ever. "She's acting single, I'm drink double' and ' Drinkin thing' are great songs.
