Well since your only 12 I'd say keep it natural.Which doesn't boring. Most people think that natural is boring well it doesn't have to be.If your make-up looks natural then it should match with any outfit and will be less of a hassel to put on.You should use black eyeliner,If you have brown or green eyes you purple eyeshadow. And if you have blue eyes I would use a gold this really makes your eyes pop out.For the cheeks just use a natural rosy almost the same color as your skin but a little darker and put the blush on the apples of your cheeks. For lips I would stick with lipglosses and not lipstick. All shades off lip gloss is okay I love lip gloss and don't go anywhere with out it.Mascara don't over do it just enough to make your eyelashes look longer. And that's all they're is to it.

Ok find a foundation that matches your skin and goes on smoothly, I use lancome, neutragena is good too, it might cost more but it wil be worth it. Put the foundation on your entire face and down your neck. Get a blush that is just a few shades darker than your skin town in some version of pink of course , smile and brush the powder over where your cheek dimples. Add Mascara and a nice lip gloss, this will work for most occasions and work settings.

to put makeup on nicely and not look really bad u should do a little bit. glosses and natural colors look best. never do heavy, that looks bad. i'd use a littl eyeliner and mascara. trust me ive been applying makeup for years. e-mail me if u need to apply makeup to match with an outfit.

Do a little trick I learned; Put on makeup that almost matches your face. For example: If you had brown lips (naturally) you would put on some tan lipstick.

Go to the bookstore and find books on makeup application. They have diagrams, the right colors for your hair, skin etc. You need to see and read specifically so you can do it correctly without looking cheap or overdone.
