I think that is a myth created during the cold war. How would some terrorist cell ever be able to rely on someone they have not been in contact for years. The person would be to influenced by his current life situation.

I believe so. After sept 11 people in a neigboring city by me were arrested. Also, organizations were shut down because they were funding al qaieda. This was all near a mosque in IL.
