Ok. there's this certain person (he, she, it, I don't know) by the screen name The Advisor.

One day, I answered this person's questions (without being a smartass, just honest opinion) and this person bombarded me with all kinds of harassing emails.

Then, the person turned around accused me of bothering them!

Here's an example:

Am I the only one recieving this harassment from this person?

Should I ignore them?

What should I do?

I've noticed harassment too, but not from this person. This site is being taken over by bullies. I see the most disgusting, insulting remarks and yet no one better dare say anything back to them. And answers is letting the worst people get away with harassing others. I know several people who won't come back on here because what happened to you also happened to them. Answers is letting the bullies get away with it really. Eventually this site will be only full of bigots and bullies because the nice people won't keep coming back. So, I totally understand what you are saying. Answers is letting the "abuse" button get out of hand. This is happening to others to, so don't let a jerk make you feel bad.

I don't allow anyone on Yahoo to email me. Consequently, I don't have problems with harassment. But I have received violation notices for answers that could not have been more innocuous. I think that a certain amount of harassment is an inherent part of being on a public forum. Good luck!

Almost sounds like stalking. Why don't you turn off your email so that this person can no longer contact you.

If you haven't already done so, report it until you are blue in the face.

Are they still bothering you? If it was a one day thing, then I am sure they will forget about it. You can report them from that question and note what it is they are saying to you etc.
