e.g., If my professor disrespects me or treats me in a manner I feel is unjust and I rebel and disrespect the professor right back, does that give the professor the right to kick me out of his/her class? Would I be able to say something along these lines: "No, I'm not leaving this class. You disrespected me, so I disrespected you back; now we are even so continue with the class and leave your comments about me to yourself."
She has no consideration for her students and simply thinks everyone is out to get her. What kind of professionalism is that?! She can make mean (super mean) comments to the students, however she will not allow a student to do the same to her. What happened to "I respect you if you respect me" ???
Who's wrong? Me or the professor. What do I do?!!!!!!!! If she disrespects me can I take it to the deans office, or to her director?

It depends on the policies of the school you attend. Most institutions CAN AND WILL kick you out. There is a RIGHT way to go about this and it IS in your student handbook.

Basically, you're screwed.
In most American courts, the professor is regarded as having the right to exclude a student from the class at will. So you cant get legal redress. And in nearly all cases, if you complain to the Dean or Dept Head, they have known that professor for years and years, so they probably are not going to take your word against hers.
OF course, Profs don't routinely thow out kids from class. In 40 years of teaching I probably only threw out 3 or 4 kids and they were all egregiously offensive.
Your best tactic is to see the prof and mend your bridges. If the problem doesnt get better, then you can ask to meet with the Dept Head. At the least this will be a pain in the butt for the professor and dept head and they will try to resolve the problem. You could probably ask to be withdrawn non-punitively and get your tuition back. THen take a different course with a different prof.

I have a similar problem with my Spanish with a teacher, and she yells at us for nothing. The thing is try to talk to her after class, and express your opinion and try to work towards solution.
A great idea would be to refer to your student handbook, and if the problem doesn't resolve try to go to your counselor. Since if you disrespect the teacher, you will interrupt the class and thus disrupt the class, and there is a chain of events that can kick you out.
And professor will probably give you a referral, os try and talk to her.
And I have lived in other country other than US, and in my elementary school teachers made the whole class cry, of what kind of pathetic losers we were. But disrespecting the professor won't get you anywhere and will land you just in more trouble.

You are wrong. That is her classroom, she is in charge. if you do not like how she talks to you why are you taking her course?. In class, there must be 1 person in charge. If everyone is allowed to talk to everyone as they please, then no one will learn anything. In this world, you will find out that sometimes the one who is in charge do not respect others and you have only 2 choices. (1) suck it up. (2) leave.. Do not try going to the dean unless you have the backing of other students who will go with you. .

Could you just transfer to some other professor's class. At the undergraduate level, most departments offer several different sections of the same class. Nobody needs all this grief.

college Profs might want to no longer behave this way. you are able to tell the instructor to end harassing you. Write down your journey as precisely as you are able to and promises authentic information of each and every of your movements and what replaced into suggested. Take your written account to the dean and clarify what's happening as obviously as conceivable. might want to the habit proceed in college once you put up your report, flow to the dean on the instantaneous to report it. If no longer something ameliorations after 2 visits to the Dean you are able to start searching into making the harassment well-known extra publicly. don't be afraid to face up for your self.

Record her berating the class...do not antagonize here or try to come back at her...then take it to the Dean...Otherwise it's your word against hers and you lose.
