He is not "the worst thing that ever happened to America", the 2-party system, which he is a part of, is.
We have 500 choices for breakfast cereal, but only 2 for President? Something is wrong with that...
I'm sure that if Americans had more than 2 idiots to choose from every 4 years, Bush would still be bankrupting businesses instead of bankrupting America, financially and morally.

No. The worst thing to happen to America is when the two party system was established. It worked for awhile, but the greed of the people in it eventually took over and now look what we get to choose from each election. A bunch of people who use money and not brains to get elected, and the situation the country is in reflects that.

Facts are facts and no matter how they wash it. Bush has done nothing good for America. Nothing. We have a $9 trillion national debt and the Iraq war was a mistake. Iraq is in civil war now. No matter what we do in Iraq, Iran will control that country in the end. It will cost working class tax payers $2 trillion over ten years. Working class people live in the real world not the pretend world of Republicans. They like to pretend Bush was not a proven failure in Texas when they voted for him twice. They also like to pretend he was not Draft dodger. Republicans love the liar and embrace the lies as the truth. Republicans also will never admit that they want to end Social Security.

In fighting amongst our citizens is the very worst thing to happen to this country and that past time is at a peak now.
You all listen to too many political talk shows. You have to remember that these pundits will do or say anything to get you to react, because reaction means you'll tune in. They all play you for paychecks.
Remember, when you talk about the 'enemy', republican, dem, lib, independant, whoever, these are your next door neighbors and co-workers, your family and friends. They are not the black hooded evil doers that are out to destroy "YOUR" America. All these people are just folk, trying to figure out how come they have to pay 3$ a gallon for gas, $400,000 for a 3 bedroom house, $30,000 for a car, and more money each month in health insurance than their parents paid for them to be born.
Bush is just the flag man, getting even with someone who called his dad a name.
The American Dream is dead. We killed it ourselves. We are the worst thing that ever happened to this country.
We have the power to change what we don't like. Anyone remember that? Try not liking the way things are instead of the people who are wallowing around in the muck of it all, just like you.

Well, I would say no. While I find many of his administration's policies unacceptable---far too many to itemize--I do support his views on the global aspect of fighting the fundies. Am I happy to see people, of every religion and ethnic extraction dying daily? NO. So why does it occur then? Liberalism. The left in America is the after-birth of the dirty 60's hippies, has weakened our country. This fact, combined with Jimmy Carter's ineptitude during his presidency, gave rise to modern day terrorism.
Liberalism is the pox of America, and thus the world.

He may not be the worse, but he certainly is not the best by a long shot. If I hear him say "we're going to stay the course in Iraq" one more time, I may vomit. I don't know what type of conscience he has, and he clearly wasn't the best choice for President of these United States. Al Gore wasn't a very strong choice, but he would have been better that Bush in my opinion. May God bless America.

No, he isn't. During his watch, the economy grew in record proportions, and more minorities benefitted from government programs than ever before.
President Grant took the country into some of the greatest scandals ever.
President Clinton had more scandals than any other president in American history.
President Hoover was the only president since the 1700's to have citizens storming Washington, and he took us into the Great Depression.
President Roosevelt (FDR) was thought of in very similar terms by his country, and history has shown him to be one of the best. I am not going to compare the Bush, Jr. presidency to FDR ,as that is not strictly my call... we'll have to wait 50 years to see.
