can you find out from an ultra sound i was told no im curious as some one said a doctor told them the sex of there baby

All the moms I know found out at around 4 months (16 weeks) Thats the exact time I found out I was having a girl too. Whoever told you that was wrong. The only way it wouldnt work is if the baby has their legs crossed just right or something. Your doctor should be telling you these things, or you should be asking. Just remember that the accuracy rate is only about 91%, so there is a chance that even if they tell you the sex of the baby, they are wrong.

yes, u can find out the sex from about 15-16 weeks pregnant which would be 4 months. As long as the baby is in the open legged position then yes it is very common..

Yes, at 16 weeks it IS possible to find out the sex of the baby IF the baby is positioned well during the ultrasound.

Yes. My doctor waited until I was 20 weeks - they can tell before that, but not with the same degree of accuracy. After 20 weeks they are almost always right, but before that it is harder to tell. Since they don't like to do extra ultrasounds beyond what is necessary, my doctor always scheduled them for 20 weeks. I had one at 12 weeks, but it was too early to tell on that one. It was very obvious on the second one. I only had those two ultrasounds.

It's possibel to find out the sex of the baby at 4 months. Of course the baby has to be in a position to be seen.

Well i recently ran into the same problem. I am currently 20 weeks and at 14 weeks had an ultrasound and was told it was to early to tell... but with my first kid they could tell at 12 weeks, i told my doctor that they didnt know what this one was and he was mad... Some technitians just are assholes(pardon my french but that is the only word for some of them) My doc said he was sorry that they didnt tell em even i asked and then told them i know they could tell, hell i knew what i was having(i am 99% sure it is a girl, but i like to have the tech tell me) My doc said they will tell you for sure on your 20 week, i find out if i am correct next week. I have followed the 3 line rule... Advice i got: If there is 3 lines like a face but a sideways smile for a mouth, 80% of being a girl, my first technition told me that.

I heard you can find out the sex anywhere from 16-22 weeks. I go to find out next week and I will be 20 weeks.

u can find out from an ultrasound as early as 10 weeks (3 months) which is when i found out i was having a boy.
i dont know who told u that u cant tell from an ultra sound thats just rediculous

You can tell via ultrasound between 18-20 weeks, if the baby cooperates during the exam; and don't trust your OB doctor, listen to what the u/s tech has to say.

I found out I was having a boy at 4 months. My sister found out at 18 weeks.
