The hardest footballer I have ever seen has to be ROn CHopper Harris because he has gotton pretty good

Vinny jones and Roy Keane are absolute jokes compared to players from the 70's. Keane got made to look a mug by Shearer who was just laughing at him, and in the last 15 years Shearer would be the hardest player.
Ron Harris and Norman Hunter would leave you with nighmares, but pound for pound, Billy bremner would be my pick

On the whole the above players were genuine hard men. Vinny Jones was just a thug.

Hard to say..Vinnie Jones is up there..definitely harder than Roy Keane. I think the Leeds United team of the seventies have to be the hardest team.

Two players both Scots .Billy Bremnar and Dave McKay.Billy was fantastic could nip at your heels all day long,ferrous tackler and nasty with it.Dave McKay took **** from no one, he was and still is the hardest player ever.The picture in the link is great but there is a better picture with him holding Billy by the neck at White hart lane ,its great.If billy was alive he would tell you that Dave McKay was HARD. He also was a great player.
