Truth of it is, money and concepts of values. Why don't teachers get a raise every time Congress does. Or why are Teachers so under payed when they are the ones that hold the future of the youth and how it conceives. Every child in China gets a chance to go to school, and those that want to learn are helped and mentored by the teachers. This is why China has become the smartest and most productive country.
Want a car built, go to Mexico, want a building designed, go to the Far East, want a railroad built, go to Germany,UK or France. want a Port built, contact the Holland or the Netherlands.
American students are taught that the Military is the way to College. Public Schools, should have Public Colleges. They work in other countries.

All the reason given are true. Also there is not enough bandwidth for everyone to go on Myspace and to download music etc.

mostly its because in order to chat or sommunicate over the internet, you have to send it through a network. it can be easily stolen by a hacker and then the hacker would get info on students. so for students safety and privacy. you do what u want at home, but they will protect at school.
