because i want to get cricket, but if i dont have the money..and i cant pay it, will they just not give me the service or will they like hunt me down and make me pay?

You pay in advance. If your monthly payment is due and you dont pay you dont have service.

Well I don't believe Criket offers a pre paid sevice. As far as I know...thet only offer a monthly service.
Now...you definetly don't want to sign a contract wtih Criket or any other phone service that you can't fulfill. If you don't pay your bills on time or period all that information affects your credit score and you really don't want to jepordize that! Believe me! When you get older everything is determined by your credit score!
