What does everyone think of the Americans?

I was just wondering.

Most of us non-Americans like the ones we actually meet, but we oppose, or in many cases hate, your government's imperialist interventions in other countries.

And we don't relate to your Christian fundamentalists, your loudest-voiced minority.

Being an American myself I know we are constantly under the scrutiny of "ALL' other fellow human beings... sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worst of our acts. And we are also the most envied of all governments on earth. Why you ask?... because the American society is not only the richest on the earth but also the society with the "Mostest" of everything from money to problems. Did you ever look at the Americans in this way at all? It all comes with the territory...if you are the most loved then you get an equal amount of least loved. There is no other society now nor has there ever been any society in history with the freedoms we as Americans take for granted period.

In response to duc, Of course we mean the USA duh! I think all countries are guided by self-interest and some are better at exploiting than others. We're very good at it. Our motto should be "USA: Made in China." Americans are nice. Our foreign policies? They're terrible! Just look at our past. It was bad too. C'mon, why did we take over the Philippines? President McKinley didn't even know where it was!!

I in reallity can't tell you. We've done some really stupid stuff, butt I'm an American my self. Like a person America has it bad days, its good days, its grudges, its likes, its flaws, and its quialties. So it all really depends on who you ask, and what taste did they get.
