He was the man who tried to appease Adolph Hitler in 1939, got off the plane in England waving an "agreement" and declaring he had "peace in our time". Shortly there after World War Two started!

Neville Chamberlain was the Prime Minister of Britain at the start of WWII. He tried to appease Hitler at the beginning of the war in 1939. After Hitler seized Czechoslovakia, Chamberlain quit trying to appease Hitler. Chamberlain resigned in 1940 and was replaced by Winston Churchill

He was the Prime Minister of the the UK before WWII.
He tried to stop Hitler thru diplomatic means and also cooked the books on intel (sound familiar) to keep them (the UK) from going to war. He denounced those who said Hitler was a threat as being unpatriotic and crazy. He failed miserably-- sound familiar (in the reverse)?

He was chancellor of England, I think. He was the one that appeased Hitler by giving him some lands in poland becuase he buckled under the pressure.
