Power point is a program that enables you to create a slideshow.
Microsoft Word is a typing program, you can type documents, letters and more into it.
Excel is a spreadsheet program where you can use differant functions to do differant things.
There are many other microsoft programs as well.

It is a part of Microsoft Office which is included Word, Excel, Outlook...
