In my school, we're having a preppy/ emo day where we have to dress either preppy or emo. I don't want to dress emo, but everyone I've asked has a different definition of preppy. How would you define preppy? As in what clothes they wear?

lmao, you don't have to be rich to be preppy stupid &^#.(blake guy) just wear a polo (la coste, le tigre, or some a&e). just look rich. or just go watch an episode of the oc and see what they wear. ( summer)

Wear American Eagle, Abercrombie, and hollister. Im kindof preppy, so I wear those, and I have like the ripped jeans, stuff like that.

if i were you, emo would be easier, but the preppy look is pretty much what all the popular people where (i don't know why, but its what i see and hear). pinks, yellows, bright oranges, ribbons in your hair, thick pearl necklaces and bracelets, pearl earrings, puma shoes/normal tennis shoes. that's what i think is preppy. hope i helped!!

a prep is somebody who comes from a wealthy background, they do sports such as rowing sailing rugby skiing they wear LaCoste and Ralph Lauren as well as Abercrombie. You have to have an aditude as well go to wikepedia to find out more

wear a polo with a little logo on it and pop the color, also wear some boots and try to make them look like uggs. then wear some pearls too. and a headband or ribbon. wear a jean miniskirt with the uggs.

i lot of people think stores like hollister are "preppy", but preppy is wearing plaid skirts and sweaters, and sweater vest and stuff. i dont known maybe its me
