It's kinda hard 2 say over the web, but u need 2 have good fingering and stuff. take lessons.
I play bass.
my sis plays guitar and she uses a pick, but i don't.
Is that any help?

well the best way to play the guitar if u do not know how is to use tabs. tabs will teach you to play songs without learning how to read music notes...insted u will be learning to read tab. try going to this site and see if you can learn a song or two! good luck!

You have to grab that thing and start making sounds until you understand and you'll be able to play a simple tune eventually.

well.....first you call your local music store..and ask them,"do you give guitar lessons?" and they'll set it up for you!!!!!!
i play guitar!!!!!!!! but i cant teach you!!!!
