Whether the person is alive or not, reflect on the good times you had together and be thankful for them. The mind doesn't know the difference between a memory and the real thing. Most importantly keep moving, slowly let go and grab ahold of new things. Learn, meet new friends, fill that space with something new and creative. Never stop growing, learning and loving. If that person has moved on keep them alive with their love in your heart. We are the sum total of everyone we know (or have known). That person continues to live through you. If they are alive and you meet again someday, they will find themselves in you, and you in them. It's a beautiful thing.

It all depends did you loose the friend through death or over some other reason.... If it was death take time to grieve cry all you need to it will make you feel better. If it was for some other reason... ask yourself if you are the one who should appoligize and take it from there. What ever the situation I hope you feel better soon.

i have been there .. it will take some time to get over it ,,, time will heal ... but it does help to talk it over with someone... what i did was a close friend of mine would just talk about it ,,, she know him and we would laugh at the silly things he did and cried because we missed him.... but we finally moved on i guess you could say,, i still think about him and im sure she does too... but give it time ...

you can find a new friend, move on with your life, take one step after the other and put one foot in front of the other and if you fall down pick yourself up and continue. its normal to miss your friend.
