Sugar crystals are the quickest and easest to make
get a jar a string, sugar, washer or someting that you can tie the string around to way it down...
and water
get parents premistion if your not allowed to play on the stove!
you need to saturate the water with suger meaning! heat the water and add the suger until the suger doesn't desolve any longer!
yes you will use a lot of suger but only use the amount of water that will fit in the jar you are using or you will be wasting stuff!
once done with that pour the sugar water into the jar... put the string in the water washer side in at the bottom .. now becareful you don't want the washer to touch the bottom or the sides! so it should dangle by it's self! from the string! :) set that jar with the lid in a dark place check on it daily and keep it fromj light! should take a few days at least but as time goes by you will see the crystals grow!! best off all if you add food colors you can have rock candie and it tast well sweet!

Here's an easy way:
Needed:
2 quart pan
1.5 quarts water
1lb sugar (more or less)
stick or dowell or similar
piece of string
small weight (not lead)
Heat the water in the pan and add as much sugar as will disolve.
Tie the weight to the end of the string, and the other end of the string to the middle of the stick.
If you keep the pot hot, not boiling, as the water evaporates, the sugar should start to form crystals on the string. The beauty of this is that you can eat your expirement when it's done.
