80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.
I've come to two conclusions recently:
1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.
First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.
Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

The true meaning in life (although it may vary from person to person according to their attitude about the world) is to discover, create or add to our present world in such a way that future generations of humans will be affected and influenced by it.
(ie. The invention of the light bulb by Thomas Edison gave light for people back then and still for people today.)
This is the meaning of life because if the world was without people to create, discover, or add ideas and things in our lives then life would not as enjoyable, easy or efficient for us.

Life only has meaning if you give it meaning. If you just think that life is a craphole and dont question yourself about things that you are doing in your life, your life does not have meaning. The meaning of life is actually asking yourself that question. You are giving it meaning.

WHO CARES??????
You only have 1 life and you have no way of knowing how long that will be. I would advise you not to worry about what life is or why you are here but what you are going to do with the life you have.

To express and experience all possibilities of emotion on this plane of matter. To make known experientially what god knows conceptually. If you knew how to fly, wouldn't you want to experience it?? Or would you be ok with just the knowing of it....? I don't know about you, but I'd wanna experience flying first hand. We are all individualized aspects of the mind of god....his emotion, or e-motion.....or energy-motion...or energy in motion. Live it...Love it...You are it~Life.

life really has no meaning, except what one gives it, we can only hope that most people give their life a good meaning, as you know some don't.....

Hi there lucky lishes,
Actually the meaning of life is to live by loving and to test us...It test us how our patience can live long, it test us how to feel trials and problems bring us down and misery...Beside from trials, it also let us feel happiness, it let us feel being love and adored by people.

Life is all about living positively in order to enjoy yourself and tolerate those you live with. Not forgetting to acknowledge your creator.
