Fiction is a toss-up between Hearts in Atlantis (King), The Chamber (Grisham), and I Know This Much is True Lamb). Non-fiction would probably be Father Loss (collective stories from people who lost their dads). Although I fit into that category, so that's probably why I enjoyed it. Why? The non-fiction book because it helped me grieve, H.i.A. because I missed the Vietnam generation and I've always been interested in that era, T.C. because as a liberal who supports the D.Penalty, it really opened my eyes to the other side, and I.K.T.M.i.T. because I didn't really love my brothers until I finished the last sentence from that book.

my favorite non-fiction book is Angela's Ashes...its hard to imagine that any child would have to grow up like he does, especially when as a society we are sheltered from so many of these realitys. He also puts humor into his book...its so good! Flags of our fathers is really good too though...its by James Bradley. My favorite fiction book is Gone with the wind. Its been a couple years since I've read it, but its so memorable. I pulled an all nighter finishing it!

As of today my favorite fiction book is 'Temple' by Matthew Reilly because it uses a loosely based account of historical fiction as a basis. For non-fiction it is either the one volume or two volume set 'The Way Things Work' because it tells how to rebuild civilization in case things go seriously out of whack in the world.

My favorite fiction book is "The Cairo Trilogy" by Naguib Mahfouz, it's readable with great characters with reasonable episodes in a Muslim family. It also helps its readers understand more on Muslim's beliefs and cultures.
The favorite non-fiction is "The Path To Power" by Margaret Thatcher, the first former lady UK Prime Minister. I bought it as a second-hand paperback last week as well as her "The Downing Street Years" (weeks ago), I'd like to know her ways of working and thinking since childhood to her illustrious position.
