Does anyone know where i can download the sftwear for aoundedit that works on Mac OSX?

Garageband is nifty but it does not come with all Apple computers. You can get it on the iLife CD for 79 bucks. iMovie can also do simple sound editing such as fades, overdubs, cutting and moving clips. You will actually have a movie file but then you can export the audio.

Macromedia stopped updating SoundEdit aeons ago.
Try, Sound Studio, Amadeus, or Fission.

doesn't garage band generally come free with mac installs? I have in on my powerbook and thats pretty good for recording
