I only felt bad vaginal pain when the baby's head was so low and my cervix was ripe and a fingertip open. You need to call your doc now or go to the emergency room. You are a little too early and the last thing you wnat to do is have a premie outside a hospital. They may be able to stop labor for a couple of weeks and give your baby a chance to develop further or at least give you that steroid shot that helps your baby;s lungs develop fast. Good luck and God Bless.

First, do not panic ! I had the same awful pain and could barely walk. The pain was caused by " Varicose Veins", in the vagina-- ( much like hemmoroids); and is caused by the extra weight which you are carrying. After delivery they will go away. Sit in a nice warm tub to ease the pain and avoid sexual intercouse! Also, at this late stage into pregnancy, your baby may have dropped and the cervix has started to dilate. You WILL BE FINE! Congratulations!!!! P.S. I am a nursing student. Dona G.

If you have any pain during a pregnancy it is not normal. You need to talk to your doctor now. It could be serious or a vaginal infection that could infect your baby.
