What can I do to make a homemade punk Goth outfit for Halloween?

I don't want to have to buy a whole costume. I need to know what I can do to make one here at home.

I want it to look punkish, but all black.

Ok, Dollar store would work really well. I was a Goth Last year, and I found spikey necklaces etc at a dollar store.
Get Grey Makeup, there, Hair color spray etc. (Black.)
Maybe, some fake peircings.
Ask your friends too. You'd be surprised how much you could find!
I found a lot of my stuff at a thrift store. it may seem kinda awekward, but once you wash the stuff, it's not bad! Good luck, and have fun!

The first thing I'd recommend is to take the big wire spring out of a spiral notebook and weave it around all over your face. Then go to a sporting goods store and buy a bunch of fish hooks, spinners and flys and hang them from your ears, your eyebrows, your nose, your lips and anywhere else you have some open space. Use purple and black felt pens to draw in details like lips and eyes and ready-to-pop zits. Whatever's left, scribble in with homemade tattoos. Use an electric drill and day-glo florescent rattle can paint to style your hair. For clothes, go to a circus and steal all the clothes off a clown, drag them behind a car for a while, then spray paint everything flat black except the socks, then be sure to add lots of chrome rivets and chains. Lastly, I'd toss a few sharp rocks into your 10 sizes too big logger's boots to give you that authentic, cool, crappy attitude. You'll look great! Happy Halloween.

Back in the 80's we used to make punk rocker Halloween costumes with a black trash bags. Cut Head and Arm holes. Accessorize with belts, cheap cool jewelery, etc. Goth style makeup is pretty inexpensive at most drug stores or k-mart.

Try a black mini skirt, torn at the edges, some dark purple stockings underneath. Some beat up black Keds or other lightweight shoe. An old school T-shirt with rips or super faded and a long sleeve shirt under it. Cut some thumb holes in the long sleeve shirt. Cut off the bottom of your T-shirt and use it as a headband. You can probably find this stuff at your local thrift shop!

Black is of course the most common color, usually you can throw in some deep purples, reds and blue in the accessories. For the make-up, black eyeliner and lipstick are most common, have fun with the eyeliner though, spirals coming off the corner of the eyes are pretty common.

You need to wear as much black as possible. A crazy looking band T-shirt is also a good way to look punk. Get some chains, black boots, and some magnetic earrings that you can put on your ears or your nose.

dress in all black or black with red accents. lots of heavy dark eye make up. Silver chains on your clothing. Heavy black boots combat type. Maybe even a couple of red streaks in your hair. Your make up should make you look pale. Several people have suggested Hot Topic stores but they are phasing out their goth wear in my area..
