everytime i feed him, he looks like pregnant, his tummy gets big, is this normal? and the next day he looks normal again, but when i feed him, again looks pregnant

does he do this after he eats or before??? it before, he is "puffing" or swelling with water because he is feeling threatened.

It probably is normal because when puffer fish go to the size of a balloon, they actually inhale water and then release it from their mouth. Maybe he doesnt like your hand going near him and gets scared, and as a defencive mechanism, goes all fat and spiky! If you are really worried, take him to the vet.

Its a puffer fish. They puff up. If your sure if its a boy then he can't be pregnant. But still read more about them because he could be. He could be like seahorses, the males give birth instead of the female. So you might want to read more.

Could it be that after it eats it's belly bulges? Could be a sign you are feeding it too much. A puffer that inflates itself is generally a frightened and stressed animal and more then likely wouldn't eat.
