Maybe your friends are in the same boat. If so, it's really fun to dress up as a group of characters like say Zelda characters, or Goonies, a rock group (80's for drama if you want that) or for something more simple, all just non-specific Italian Maffia or Pirates (althought this will be overdone this year and hardly original, at least you could have lots of fun with all the other pirates) You get the idea. Might be hard to organize at this late date, though. The maffia thing I've seen really well done though, and if you wanna go for that you just need some nice suits (pinstripe is best), black fedoras, and sunglasses, and maybe some brass nuckles or something. Schools get uptight about fake guns, though. To make it cohesive, they all wore black with white accents (like hat bands and kercheifs) Although you could get creative. Just think 20s, rich, tough, and threatening.

If u play sports u could wear ur uniform if u want something easy. My friend was a greek goddess one year, she got an old sheet and cut a head in it. She got one of those big gold belts to go around her waist. I think that any other gold jewelry you have would be a good touch. (Just remember to wear something underneath, you have to pull at the sides all the time to get them to stay on!)

I suggest searching the web for costumes. You may not want to buy any, but can get some very good ideas for easy to make costumes!

i am a freshman too and sohpmores on my soccer team were like you can't dress up cause your freshmen! but i'm not sure if that's what it's like where you live!
