You should really do it in person. I know i wouldn't appreciate being told in a letter something like that. Just be strong! Tell them it was an accident and you guys can decide as a family what to do about it...keep it, adoption, abortion...there are lots of options and people out there who want to adopt babies. One thing at a time though. Good luck!

I know this must be a scary thing to do and I would hope your family would be supportive. You need to be honest with them. If you are young and/or don't think you can handle raising a child, please consider adoption as an option. For sometimes unknown, but heartbreaking reasons there are many of us out here who can not conceive and would lovingly welcome your child as God's gift into our homes. If this is the case, there are organizations that are very supportive to help you through this. Good luck and God bless you and your baby!

Sit down and talk to them like an adult. No matter what the situation, they just want what is best for you and you need the support. They may be mad at first, but they'll come around and when they see their grandchild, they'll fall in love.

Just walk in the house and say...Guess what Mom/Pop....your gonna be grandparents!!!
How far are you?
One of my good friends waited until she had her first ultrasound and had it put on a coffee mug saying....your first grand child with the due date underneath
