The city has not been making any money from public transportation recently which is why they eliminated a lot of transfers and raised the fare. I don't think they can afford to offer a free walking transfer.

I have no idea, they just recently changed it so that we have to start paying for transfers. I have a pass, but I still think its a bunch of junk. 2 bucks everytime you step on any public trans? If you have to connect a few times, which most do, thats really expensive. It makes it seem stupid to even use it.
