Yes. The growth rate amongst legal citizens is almost stagnant. The huge estimated number of folks that were added to the population are mostly immigrants. This number has skyrocketed since the 1980's. Many of these immigrants are illegal. A conservative estimate of the illegal population puts the number somewhere around 11 million. Many folks believe that the number is much higher.

It's a dangerous number.. especially as the Americans cause a huge proportion of the worlds bad emissions! Environmental issues need to be addressed otherwise we are all well and truly screwed!!!

yes, but most of them aren't even real americans..like illegal aliens! that means if you count legal americans, then there'd be less than that and america won't be as overpopulated..so..it's not really because americans are very reproductive. it's because of other people running away from their country that causes the OVERPOPULATION of another country.
