i didnt know i was getting the fish! So SORRY,WHAT DO YOU THINK IM PHSYCIC!? (UH NOO) so shut up about "why didn't you get the fish food before!" because i didnt know i was getting the fish,lol,ok?

Why didn't you buy the food while you were at the fish store buying the fish? Depending on what type of fish they are you can try a fresh veggie but the fish will be fine for a day or 2 until you get to the store.

Don't use crackers, and the like. It will do more harm than good. Your fish can easily go several days without food. It's not good doing it all the time, but every couple of months is fine.
PS- What sort of fish did you buy? Different fish eat different foods. Goldfish need a more veggie food, while bettas need a meaty food.

ok i won't say u r nuts. how far is the closest fish store,walmart or pet store that u can't go get some now instead of taking a chance on feeding them something that may not b good for them. fish can go several days without food,fyi. but if u just have to give them something, the only thing i can think of that would b in ur house is bread. but i'd rather see u make a quick trip to the store.

You can purchase fish food at any grocery store. if you have an agressive fish such as a tiger barb you can feed them other fish or you can feed them boiled (make sure its cooled) zuchini. If you got the friend from a pet store they have more than likely already fed the fish for the day so you won't have to worry about feeding the fish until tomorrow when you can get to the store to buy the fish food.

Fish can go for several days without food. Drug stores and grocery stores all have a pet supplies section, and many of them are open late or all night. It will be fine.
Do you have a filter for it or is it just in a bowl? If you want to keep it healthy, I recommend a filter - you can get ones that are very small for bowls. Try to find out what species of fish it is so we can tell you how big it will get, and so what size bowl or tank it should have.

Fish food, why didn't you buy it when you got the fish? Why didnt fish food come with the fish? I assume the rest of it supplies came with it.
I wouldnt recommend any people food for a fish. Get fish food.

they like canned green beans good luck and when you buy fish food they love blood worms for a treat live or dehydrated

the fish can do without food til tomorrow when you get some....
please dont feed crackers and such....thats not fish food!
