According to tickers I have done, I am either 20 or 22 DPO. And I should have started on the 14th or the 16th but didnt. Would a HPT work now? Also could I do one now (6 PM) or should I wait till tomorrow morning?

Most women get a positive pg test by 14 dpo so you are definitely far enough. Implantation occurs 5-10 dpo so you can get a positive a few days after and considering you are that far you should get a dark positive. This isn't the old days tests are more accurate and many pregnancies are noticed right when a period is due and even a few days before. Take a test! BTW, the dollar general brand is just as good as anything else and just a dollar!!!!

I don't know about the sensitivity of a Dollar General test, but most tests would show positive for most pregnancies at 20-22 DPO. Wait and use your first morning urine tomorrow just to get your best concentration of Hcg.

Pregnancy usually shows up on a HPT about 14 to 20 days after conception, and i would wait till mornin cause your morning urine would contain the highest level in order for the test to be correct but if you are pregnant and you take it now it will definitly show up...good luck

It should work, I took a pregnancy test a day or two before my missed period and it said positive. Not everyone has high hormone levels so if it says negative but you really think you still could be pregnant go to your doctor and ask for a blood test.

I would wait for a week to 10 days after your missed period to get the best reading... also, take it first thing in the morning for the highest concentration of urine

If you use an EPT you can do it as soon as the first day of your missed period and you do not have to wait until mornng. So, go for it and good luck

Wait until you're a week late and take it as soon as you wake up in the morning.
