You see them every night as you drive along the main motorways and dual carriageways in Britain.
In a layby, you'll see 4 or 5 lorries parked up for the night.
All of them have their internal cab lights switched on, and sat inside each is a solitary lorry driver, idly flicking through a pornographic magazine while he munches on his Ginsters cornish pastie.
So why don't they all arrange to meet up in one of the cabs to have a wee party?
It would be much more sociable than just sitting there like a sad Billy-no-mates, and they could have their wee party in a different cab each night.

How nice that you feel you can judge something you obviously no nothing about. As a previous post said, people don`t realise that actually over 90% of everything you eat, use, drive, drink, walk on, sleep in, etc etc etc, is available to you because of trucks and their drivers.
A wee party is what you think could be going on eh ? I wonder if (presuming you have a job) that, after working up to 15 hours in a 24 hour period then knowing you will be getting up to do it all over again in 8 hours or less would make you feel much like partying ? Most probably, getting up means at between 2am and 4am. That's right, those hours that to the people like you mean partying, drinking and enjoying yourself. Couple that with the fact that you are confined to a space to sleep of about 6 feet by 2.5feet, possibly a load behind you that the scum of this country feel is theirs just for the taking, deadlines to meet the next day, traffic jams to deal with, technical safety laws and regulations to be adhered to, and worst of all, your family 100`s maybe 1000`s of miles away and not to be seen again till the weekend, etc etc etc.
Sounds like a great time to party don`t you think? Well, i certainly wouldn't`t like to go to one of yours!

To all you idiots with your stupid comments about lorry drivers (known in the USA as truck drivers). without us, you morons wouldn't have your little toys to play with, your computers to sign into at Yahoo Answers and make your inane comments, your food, clothes etc. Nearly 80% of all goods are delivered by us drivers.
I taught idiots to drive cars and lorries (for 15 years in London). It seems that today's drivers are as inconsiderate now as they were when I stopped teaching, with as many stupid comments as back then.

Maybe they do have parties, but they wait until all the wee swampy's have gone to bed so they don't have to invite them.
I bet they have a great time to themselves, with pin-the-tail on the donkey, and post-man's knock............ oh, the fun to be had.

they have probably been driving most of the day and want some peace and quiet to yank their chains. there is also the chance that out of the four trucks there is only one that speaks english
