A number is prime when its only two factors are one and the number. A number is composite if it has more than just one and the number.
In case you didn't know, factors are two numbers that you can mutiply to get a certain number.
(i.g.
prime... 2,3,5,7,11,13,17.....
composite... 4.6.8.9.10.12.15.....
one and zero are neither prime nor composite)

Prime can only be divided by 1 and it's self: 11, 13, 17
Composite, has other factors. like 4: 1, 2, 4
