yes, internet relationships are no difference from any other forms. How you met someone (in a bar, through friends, online, dating agency etc) does not determine the journey and definitely the outcome of the relationship. Give it a go, or don't be sceptical if you think you have met someone special on the internet. Worth a try, I did, not expecting much, somehow it turned out to be the most special, perfect (and we still joke about 'how we met' - unconventional still, but worth a try!). Good luck! xx

If it is the right guy, yes!
Engaged to a wonderful guy - met thru Christiancafe.com Aug 2004. He came to visit me about 4x by riding 36 hours each way on a greyhound bus! This is quite a feat, when you consider that he is a stroke victim, wheelchair dependent. The greyhound bus drivers forget him quite often, and don't help him out during breaks for bathroom or eats. So, imagine the discomfort!
So, finally I told him - move to Texas! and he did! He moved 1300 miles to be by my side. I'm still a little marriage shy since I divorced after 20 yrs, but this coming spring, we will probably marry.
So, yeah, internet relationship can work out - provided that one or the other moves in closer so that a "normal" degree of dating can occur. Keeping it at arm's length (internet) will eventually pan out and one or the other will loose interest.
Must have that face-to-face and hugs & kisses contact in order for the feelings to grow.

I have heard of so many internet relationships working out. I do not see why they would not. Just depends on the people, I would think.

Yes they do. But just like in the real world, not all internet relationships work. Just be careful, honest and hope that the person you are talking to is the same

hmmm... where does he live?? PI had an internet relationship one time and it didnt work out. Honestly I don't think it can. You never really know what the other person is doing. I think you should get a regular relationship, unless he moves to you or something.

the Internet is only a introduction tool it is really up to you two to make it work or not, The Internet has helped you to find one another and contact one another and the rest is simply up to you
I wish you the best of luck

i think it would work if both of you are genuine about it...i know some ppl are just looking for entertainment online...even with "relationships"...such as internet bf or online gf...
i believe some takes this serious and some are just looking for fun.

Course it can. I met my gf through an on-line dating site and we're mad for each other and expecting our first children next April.
