I am using a University server at halls of residence to connect to the internet, the university have blocked the port which enables me to view and send webcam images. I have talked to some people and i have come to the conclusion that i need to use a proxy internet connection. Can anyone help me find one, or offer a better answer to my question? Thank you in advance for your help.

There is a free proxy web service called ProxyWay. There is a link to download it at http://www.proxy4free.com It comes with fairly simple instructions to install it and start using it in connection with most browsers and IM clients.
